Its Hydrangea Season

Hydrangea’s are a great way to bring colour into the garden from  mid to late summer.

With their striking flower heads they come in a range of shapes from cones to large ball shape flowers.

There is a Hydrangea  to suit any garden as they come in compact varieties and also larger shrub border varieties.

They do not look out of place in a cottage garden, shrub border and also look great in a contemporary/urban garden.

They are best in light shade and moist soil, they love water.

Water well for the first year during  the Spring and Summer, mature plants would benefit from additional watering during hot dry spells.

Feed with Growmore or Fish, Blood and Bone.

Remember for Blue flowers these will only develop if planted in acid soil
